Part of it does, anyway, first in 1.90e. There are two major parts of that patch:
Siegecrafting is now a real tradeskill. And it's just as annoying to skill up as any other tradeskill, so I haven't seen much of it (side note: please write to Mythic and ask for a batch crafting option!), but the patch notes outline a fairly complex system - 10 tiers of siege equipment, each with a variety of ammunition options (which itself has 10 tiers) and skill requirements when deploying. The more powerful siege engines require a Siege Tent to be deployed nearby, which can only be done at specific locations around keeps. There are special demonic munitions created using ground drops from Agramon.
Feeling confused yet?
The other big area of change is keeps. There are a lot of changes, but the two biggest are:
- Keeps, towers, bridges, and portal keeps have been structurally updated.
- Keeps and towers no longer require maintenance costs; they will automatically level to 10 (over time, of course) and remain there unless captured.
Patch 1.90f continues the changes with the addition of siege towers.
