A moderately large update today, so let's get started. I updated the level 15 Hammer style to Low Fatigue - it used to be Medium. I changed the level of the Theurgist spell Convert Spirit to 3 - when they removed all of the pet unsummon spells but one, they left Convert Spirit, which used to be level 10 - I didn't realize they swapped it's name with the level 3 spell, so it's correct now. I've updated the racial resistance tables on the realm info pages to reflect the new resistance types. I've updated the FAQ page 8 - the sections on Potions... yes, the game has had potions for a while, I just forgot that section existed =) I updated the FAQ page 6, Dual Wield section, with a new Dual Wield formula discovered by the folks over at the Safe House community. I added the new Wizard Pyromancy Bolt line (with numbers!) to the Wizard spell list. I also heard from a few readers that there was a new Shaman AoE DoT that I missed adding to the site - and I did a search on Camelot Herald for the patch it was in, and couldn't find it... so if you have any info regarding this spell line, let me know. Also, there's a new Screenshots link on the links page - DAoC pics. Fairly rustic design, but some nice screenshots nevertheless.
I've also got two treats for you all today =) The first treat is a program written by a reader of the site, and it's called the Classes of Camelot Companion. Basically, it's a program similiar to the character builder of DAoC Catacombs, only it allows you to view the Classes of Camelot spell/style/character/stragey guide pages as you make decisions about your character. You can find the CoC Companion in the "Files" section of the site, or you can download it by clicking here.
The second treat is a piece of fan writing done by a member of Glas Garda (the Classes of Camelot guild). I normally don't link to or feature fan work, but his writing is exceptional, and my character Mistwolf makes an appearance, so I couldn't resist =) You can find the document titled "EldarethStory.doc" in the "Files" section of the site, or you can download it by clicking here. I may eventually set up a fan writing/art section, but I'm still contemplating that. If you do have a writing or artwork you'd like featured, please e-mail it to me. I can't guarantee they'll be published on the site - I'll have to wait and see what kind of response we get.

The Mythic Interview was a success! After much deliberation, you can read the entire thing here!

Today I added the patch 1.47 changes - Blademasters getting Evade III at level 25, the new Paladin, Skald, and Bard resistance song/aura/chants (with exact numbers!), the new Sorcerer and Cabalist Dex debuff line, the change to the previous Sorcerer Dex debuff, making it a new Dex/Qui debuff, the new Cabalist pet heal, pet dexterity buff, pet Strength & Con buff, and pet Dexterity and Quickness buff lines, as well as the change to the Convert Spirit line.
There's a new News Site on the links page - Grail News, who, as I've found, has tons of links and ways to get to info, as well as in-depth news, and also a new guild - Tyr's Fury. I've changed the Runemaster Raven Hoarde line to have a darkness debuff, changed the spell level of the Thuergist Minor Brisk Wind spell, changed the level of the Cabalist Negate Sight spell, and updated/added a host of Shaman buff spell numbers. I also did some sweeping changes to every class's base buff spell lists - as you may have heard, in a patch a little while back, base buffs were capped to add only your level in the stat increase after level 10. I.E. a level 44 Druid's base strength spell can only add 44 points of Strength to a level 44 character =) Up until level 10, the stat increase is capped at 10, and all base buff spell numbers were reduced reflecting this. I changed them as best I could - if you notice any blatant errors, feel free to let me know!
The last point of interest is my interview with Mythic. It's been pushed up to this Monday, the 18th, because some folk at Mythic work at home on Friday, and I want to be able to meet with as many as possible. I won't be accepting question submissions after Midnight tonight, so if you have one you haven't posted, you better hurry =) You can expect the full results/report of the interview hopefully on Tuesday.

Tonight's update is more of an announcement. I will be driving over to Mythic's headquarters and interviewing them in the near future. The date is unset, but I'm leaning towards March 22nd. Anyhow, I'm opening the interview to questions from my readers - so if you've got a question to ask Mythic, please post it in this new forum I've created, but make sure to read the 'Read Me' first =).

Tonight's update will be semi-brief, as I'm really busy. There's two new guilds on the links page - Incubi and Mojllnir's Rage, and The Camelot Portal, a multi-laguge site with a link already on the links page, has added a new language - Italian. I've updated some of the spell damage values for the Eldritch Mana Ripple line and changed the spell level for the Thuergist Minor Bolstering Gust spell. Clamargh updated his Champion Guide, it can be found at the bottom of the Champion page, there's a new Paladin guide by Pirelin (a.k.a Pumkin, and her Shaman guide) found on the Paladin page, and our own Mousemaster finished his newest strategy guide - the Guide to Grouping, which can be found under the "files" link for now until I can find a better home for it.
One of the Classes of Camelot readers dropped me an e-mail this week - he's a statistician of sorts, and is continuing a series of MMORPG studies to include DAoC. He's done an analysis of EQ, it's *very* in depth and worth reading - you can find it here, but the real news is he's looking for Camelot players to fill out a 10 minute questionnaire to further his Camelot study, and you can take his survey here!
Lastly, I'm looking for a few people to confirm the amounts of the new resistance buffs/debuffs - I've been told they are all the same, the first level buff/debuff does +/- 15%, second level is 25%, and third level is 35%. If anyone's high enough to recieve all three levels, shoot me an e-mail and let me know what percentages your spells do.
