Kallisti of Galahad/Albion has put up a complete set of ToA maps. These are by far the most detailed maps that I've seen out there so far. She's also been careful to exclude any spoiler info for the Trials, so you can feel free to check them out even if you want to figure the Trials out entirely on your own.
In other news, we've also gotten word of a new website for armsmen (and armswomen) known as Meatshield.com. Be sure to check it out if you're interested in the fascinating world of freaks in tin cans. =)
(Due to an amazing coincidence Kallisti changed how she spells her name and which server she plays on since the time I originally posted this message! I've edited the news post to reflect this. Those responsible have been sacked.)

I've posted my impressions of Trials of Atlantis on our forums. Here's the conclusion:
Most of you have probably already made up your mind, so I don't know why I bother, but bother I will: I strongly suggest waiting before buying ToA. Wait until some balancing has been done. Wait until it's been fully tested. It'll still be there waiting for you in a month or so... and you won't have moments of frustration when something doesn't work, or you realize your new ability sucks.
There is no question about whether you should buy it at SOME point, however. Master Levels may be beneficial to an entire group, but they'll help you as well... and of course the more members of a group that have Master Level Abilities, the better. Perhaps more importantly, Artifacts and quest items from ToA can greatly increase a character's strength. Mythic has, for better or worse, made this expansion necessary if you really want to compete.
Read more to find out how I reached that conclusion...

The non-disclosure agreement that Beta testers for the Trials of Atlantis expansion were bound by has been lifted, although there's still alot of specific information that we don't have access to. You'll find that we have all the stats and resist information for the new classes listed on the site now. We're in the process of updating the FAQ with a Trials of Atlantis section. You should find the complete information there by tomorrow.
Update: We've finished updating the FaQ. You can find the ToA section of the FaQ here. If you have any questions we didn't answer, feel free to put up a post on the forums.

If you look carefully around the site you might find that we've started making a few changes to get ready for the Atlantis release next week. The NDA is still in effect for Beta testers so we can't release too much information. Once the NDA is lifted we'll finish adding the ToA data. Primarily what we've got waiting is all the stat/resist information on the new races and an in-depth FAQ on all the new gameplay aspects that Atlantis introduces. We'll let you know as soon as it's up.

From the Herald, as always - in case you don't pay much attention to the links on the upper right...
We are very happy to announce that Trials of Atlantis, Dark Age of Camelot's second retail expansion, will ship on Tuesday October 28 - less than two weeks from now. You should see it in stores shortly thereafter - but you can always pre-order from your favorite online retailer such as Gamestop, EBworld, Amazon.com or retailer like Best Buy, Electronics Boutique, etc.
In many ways Trials of Atlantis is a new experience for players of Camelot. It is a fully featured role-playing module - much like a tabletop roleplaying campaign - where you start in one part of the expansion and work your way through it to the end by passing the nine Trials. Along the way you will learn about the ancient Atlanteans, hunt monsters in standard hunting grounds, find powerful Atlantean Artifacts (objects and weapons that can gain experience and grow in power as you use them), learn Atlantean Master Abilities with each Trial you pass, and much much more. Along the way there are many surprises and new things to see, learn, and decipher.
Gameplay in Trials of Atlantis takes place across the ruins of the ancient civilization. Half of the Atlantean continent is underwater, and half is above - giving Camelot its first underwater dungeons and exploration areas. In the remains of Atlantis you'll find dozens of new monster models created exclusively for Atlantis, thousands of new objects, dozens of new weapon models and armor skins.
Trials of Atlantis has many new technical features, including a massive graphics engine upgrade that updates the look of even the game's oldest terrain zones, as well as displays the new Atlantean areas with incredible realism and beauty. There's a new skinable interface that allows players to create their own interface skins (along with five or so that are included), a new high-definition terrain texturing system, new trees, underwater swimming, and lots more.
Stay posted to the Herald for documentation that will start to be posted later this week with more information on Trials of Atlantis.

Some changes were made to the servers regarding /level today, they are as follows:
These realms will no longer have the /level 30 ability. New characters will /level 20 here.
Galahad – Midgard
Bors – Hibernia
These realms have gained the /level 30 ability for the indicated Realm.
Tristan – Midgard
Bedevere – Hibernia
Nimue – Hibernia
These changes are made based upon careful evaluation of population numbers.

There's a new Armsman Guide by Raffe that can be found here. Good job Raffe, I found a lot of great stuff in your guide!
There's a new website by the creator of Camelot Flow, called the Camelot Auto-Bestiary. It can be found here.
"It is a bestiary generated entirely by users submitting 'chat.log' files. Because it doesn't require manual entry of data, it tends to be more accurate and quickly up to date (if enough people submit logs). You can browse and search mobs, items, and factions, and it includes some nifty stuff not found in other bestiaries, such as item drop rates. There will be more nifty features as I have time to implement them in the future (see the 'about' page for a sampling)." - Caelnar of Chaos Engine (Igraine, Hibernia).
I find the Auto-Bestiary to be very cool, and I will be visiting often :P
That is all the cool stuff for this post, until next time...

More guides for you all, despite the contest having ended a while ago:
Torsten's Skald guide has been updated and is now Skald 103.
Iemand's Mentalist guide
Talen's Infiltrator guide
In other news, tomorrow is patch day, so if you want to speed up the process a bit, logging on to Pendragon tonight to get most of the new files probably isn't a bad idea.
Our links page has undergone the same kind of cleaning that the guides page just did; broken and old links were removed. A few new links were added, but we're doubtless missing a great deal of them - if you don't see your favorite site on our list, please send us a note about it.
